She can now stand up on her own without pulling on anything and is getting more confident with every day.<\/p>\n<p>She\u2019s becoming insistent that she be allowed to walk just to practice so it\u2019s no wonder she\u2019s getting better, (what was it teachers used to say about practice&#8230;) so we took the plunge, resigned ourselves to the fact that our baby is definitely a toddler and had some shoes fitted at Clarks as seen above.<\/p>\n<p>All this walking around does have one great side effect &#8211; Maddie gets so tired she goes down almost instantly without a sound (Let\u2019s hope I\u2019m not talking too soon.)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Well Maddie\u2019s walking has come on in leaps and bounds (not literally you understand) but it got to the stage where we stopped counting the number of steps every time she toddled around.
