Same events though and despite a good performance from Maddie (well I would say that) her clan finished last. Still Maddie did win her heat of the sack race and with a 2nd and 3rd in the running and skipping acquitted herself well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even more amusing for me as a photographer was that this year the school decided to have a professional photography company cover the event and sell pictures on the day, something I had considered previously but then I enjoy taking pictures at Maddie&#8217;s sports day so I didn&#8217;t want to make it a paying job &#8211; anyway the feed back was that my pictures were better than these so called pros so that&#8217;s alright then!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are more pictures from the day on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/ianboichat\/media_set?set=a.10151738860438665.1073741828.665838664&amp;type=3\">Facebook<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Another year, another sports day although this year without the Olympics theme of last year.
