We went to see Santa but she was a bit scared &#8211; not surprising really when you tell a 2 year old that a large fat man in a red suit will be coming into her house in the night to give her presents!<\/p>\n<p>Still we had a lovely Chrismas Eve today and Maddie has gone to bed leaving out a glass of wine for Santa and a carrot for his reindeer, I just hope she doesn\u2019t wake up too early.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is the first year when Maddie has had some idea of what Christmas is about (not in the biblical sense yet) but definitely in the Santa\u2019s coming and I\u2019m going to get presents.
